A Morning View

Duane, I had a look at your travel blog, some lovely pics there especially the b & w GXR ones you took in Madrid. How did you find that experience in comparison to your Leica ? Just wondering whether to keep my GXR and try the Summilux on it at some point ( if I ever find a cheap A12 unit, still pricey here)

There was really nothing wrong with the GXR and Leica Summicron 35mm lens (50mm FOV). But that was as fast and wide as I was going to get with the cropped sensor.

I'm still trying to justify the expense involved moving to the Leica M-E as its just a hobby. But I'm find the rangefinder focusing experience much more pleasurable than looking through an EVF.

Wonderful image quality, Duane and it looks as though it was lovely evening for you and yours.

Thank you BB. We had a great 5 days in San Diego. Went to my favorite Navy squadron's 40th reunion and got to see some friends I hadn't seen since then. Plus my daughter lives out there and spent all day Sunday with her. I believe the photo above reflects intimacy and mood that weekend provided my bride and I.
