It's hip to be square.
Old Land Rovers and the Honda Element are most excellent. And I've never thought the K-01 is ugly. John, how many times have you actually hosed out that vehicle?
The hose-out-ability of the Element is a bit of an urban myth. I've mopped it out once or twice, but no hose. My old Jeep Wrangler, on the other hand, had drain plugs. I got bogged down in a mudhole up to my door knobs once and had to be winched out. Once on dry land, I pulled the drain plug and the gallon or four of water that had entered the cabin drained right out.
I posted a picture of my 1966 Land Rover in another post, and from the comments, It came to me that I was attracted to he "Brick" because I like things square.
I like the hood ornement.
Sadly, the title of this thread is a better tagline than anything Pentax marketing came up with.
