Feedback New Site Skins - Dark and Gray

Thanks, Amin, tried them out, but creature of habit that I am, I may get disoriented between the 3 sites I frequent if I change from the SC default! :)

Nice one Amin. I prefer the original. But having a choice reminds me of another Australian forum that I am a member of. It's non photo, but when the administrator changed the format and colour there was an almighty upheaval and people left by their droves. He went for a lighter background, and you couldn't change it or have a choice. It showed me how shallow some people can be when something is changed. It's good that you offer a choice. By the way keep up the good work, it's appreciated even "downunder".
Cheers
DUD

Thanks, DUD. And your story doesn't surprise me. Lots of very active and popular forums die suddenly for all kinds of reasons. Very tricky stuff, these forums, or anything social for that matter. Look what happened to MySpace - even Facebook isn't as safe as people think.

I chose the Muted Blue option. Amin, can you analyze how they rank based on what people choose? Just curious how it breaks down overall. I suppose most people will never change it just cause people tend to keep defaults.

Makes it sound like you should do a study of how colors affect people before you change them.. but yes changes can send people out in droves. Color options is normally a people pleaser though, it's like giving them candy.

Amin, I've noticed in the grey colour theme that there's nothing separating the signature from the message (there's no line or anything - or at least, if there is, it's not visible). I've noticed a couple of times already, when people have a long signature with for instance a quote in it, that I'll be halfway through it before I realize it's not part of the message, but a signature. Any chance there could be a thin horizontal line in between the two?
